My video project proved to be more difficult that I originally imagined. My students worked very hard once they realized that I would be using their work for my class. The videos they created were interesting and well planned. However, getting the technology to work on the school lap tops was difficult to say the least. Also, if they kids decided to use their phones to record their project they had to convert it and many of the project were corrupted or I was unable to use them in my final product. Also, the flip video software was not loaded on the lap tops and I spent a lot of time doing that myself after giving my soul away to get the administrative password to do it. After all of that, it was a lot of fun and I think the kids learned the material for their video. Thankfully the topics I gave overlapped enough for students to get the gist of the causes of WWII. I would do this again if I knew that all the required software was accessible.
